About Us

We are an outreach branch of the University of Tennessee, providing services and opportunities to the residents of Fayette County.

We are funded through a cooperative agreement between federal, state, and county governments. All of our programs
are offered to all eligible persons regardless of race, color, age, national origin, sex, or disability, and we are an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Fayette County is located in West Tennessee, about thirty minutes east of Memphis, and is known for its diverse set of people and its farmland. Somerville is the county seat of Fayette County. Fayette County has a population of 41,133 with 706 square miles, of which 705 square miles is land and 1.5 square miles is water. It is the third-largest county in Tennessee by area.
